The Mission of NPYP is To Create and Retain Young Leaders Ages 21-40 in Our Community.
The Vision is To Create Strength in the Workplace by Developing Individuals in a Professional Setting.
The 2025 Advisory Team Members include: Cassie Condon, Christine Seck, Patrick Jacobson, KyAnn Kreutzer, Bobbi Opela, and Josh Sperle.
NPYP connects young professionals year-round through a mix of purposeful gatherings and social experiences. Members meet every other month for Power Hours (Jan., Mar., May,...) on the 2nd Thursday at noon at NebraskaLand Bank’s Main Branch, with alternating months dedicated to shared community experiences and networking opportunities. NPYP is the Young Professional Organization under the umbrella of the Chamber and Development Corporation. The organization is open to anyone in Lincoln County ages 21-40. The North Platte Young Professionals kicked off an idea pitching competition in 2020.
Since it's inception, more than $104,000 has been awarded in cash and scholarships to entrepreneurs with BIG Ideas!
Business start-ups such as Hide Park Apparel, T-fence Micro Mag, Bunkhouse Creative, Game Knights, Pure Macronage, and high school inventors like Laker Grip, and entrepreneur books are showing the ideas flourish in North Platte.
